2011 saw Brit design brands Lee Broom and Deadgood join forces to create the unique four-piece Parq Life collection for Clerkenwell Design Week. Combining the traditional herringbone pattern of parquetry flooring with contemporary curves in furniture, Broom transforms this time-old technique into a splendid modern-day collection. A sleek, satin-finished walnut veneer is used with complementing brass accents so that each piece appears to be made from solid wood which gently curves. The Parq Life collection includes a sideboard, coffee table, lamp and a side table and is available to purchase from Deadgood
